English, Maths and Science. Other courses planned.

What ages do you teach?

6-18

Do you tutor exam preparation for selective school entrance?

Yes, but it’s imperative you contact us in advance to give your child the best chance of success, allowing them to prepare.

How do I know if my child is having trouble with their school work and what can I do about it?

We often ask parents the same question and the answer is usually, ‘I just knew’. However, parents’ nights at school can give an indication as to whether your child is struggling, or doing well but still underachieving. Homework and how your child approaches it, can also be a big indicator.

How do I know that my child will improve?

We guarantee to work with your child until they feel confident to flourish and no longer feel daunted. Combined with our tutoring, school work and extra homework from ourselves; your child will instantly improve both academically and in self-confidence.

How long will it take to solve my child’s problem?

Every child is different, so it’s important they come in for a FREE Assessment so we can come up with a plan and targets for them to work towards. There is no contract or obligation to attend for a long period of time, but we’ll regularly provide parental feedback so you know exactly how your child is doing.

Can you tutor my child who has Additional Needs?

We’ve taught children with ADHD, Aspergers, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism and others in the past. But it’s very important you get in touch and set up an interview and assessment with us, so we can establish whether we can effectively tutor them. We want to offer the best for your child, so this is a very important process. Please call for more details.

Do you tutor from home?

No. All of our tutoring is done in our centre so your child has access to all of our top learning packages and technology in an optimal learning environment, without any distractions.

How long is each session?

80 minutes. Each session is broken up into several 10 to 20 minute activities, so your child never gets bored.

What times are the sessions held?

Monday to Friday 4.00pm to 8.30pm
Saturday 9.00am to 12.00pm

Will my child get homework?

Yes. Homework is an essential part of our tutoring program. We are aware of other homework from school, so we set a limit of around half an hour each week. We also explain all homework thoroughly so that your child WILL KNOW what to do. If you have difficulty getting your child to complete the homework, please speak to us.
